Procedures for Pets Relocation
- Implantation of microchip and administer rabies vaccinations,
must be 11784/11785 chips - Rabies Vaccination Certificate
state the manufacturer and brand of the vaccines, together with
vaccination date and expiry date of the batch of vaccines - Other vaccinations record
need to have microchip number, date of implantation and the pet’s
information. Also need vaccines’ names, manufacturer and batch number. It
should also state the vaccination date and expiry date of the vaccines. It should be the signed by the licensed vet and has his/her contact on it. - Health certificate issued by the licensed vet
The health certificate should have the following information: name of
pet, its breed , colour and date of birth; the microchip 11784/11785 number. If
there is a deworming record, or a RNAT (Rabies Neutralising Antibody Tests) ,
it should also be recorded. Need to state clearly the rabies vaccination
details such as the vaccines’ name and its manufacturer, date of vaccination
and expiry date of the vaccines. - Internal and external parasite treatment
This is strongly suggested to avoid internal parasites (worms) and external parasites (fleas and ticks) which will affect both owners’ and pets’ health. - Rabies Antibody Titer Test (RNAT)
as requested by Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Japan). The blood
test has to take place 30 days after the 1st rabies vaccination or the booster
shot. The pet has to be at least 3 months old.：
1）RFFIT – Rapid Fluorescent Foci Inhibition test or
2）RNATT – Rabies Neutralising Antibody Titre test
The international
standard is 0.5IU/ml - IATA-approved pet crates
The crates should not be too large or too small, there should be enough interior space for the pet to stand normally, turn around and lie down. As for the material, it should be made of sturdy plastic , glass fiber or metal, with a ventilation net to prevent animals from escaping.Please use our crate calculator to determine the right crate size for your pet
- Reservations for quarantine facilities
Some countries require your pets to quarantine in designated facilities upon arrival, eg Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Malaysia and Thailand. We will reserve the quarantine facilities on your behalf to ensure your pets will be delivered there safely and comfortably.

Poodle Zeke was born and raised in Toronto, he arrived in Hong Kong safely!
Zeke’s mother returned to Hong Kong for quarantine earlier, and Zeke handed over to Pet holiday’s local colleague to take care of her. Afterwards, Zeke flew back to Hong Kong by herself. When she arrived, she could reunite with her mother immediately.
